Meet Our Podiatrists

Dr. Neil Patel is a board certified Podiatrist and co-founder of SoCal Sports Podiatry. He grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. He went to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After completing his undergraduate studies, he went to the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. After completing his postgraduate studies, he went to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for a three-year surgical residency.

Dr. Patel is adept at treating all pathologies related to the foot and ankle including but not limited to reconstructive surgeries, bunion/hammertoes surgeries, sports injuries/surgeries, arthroscopies, trauma/fractures, flat foot treatment/surgeries, elective surgeries, limb salvage, routine foot care, diabetic foot care, wound care. Dr. Patel makes it a point to exhaust all conservative therapies before pursuing surgery. Conservative therapies Dr. Patel pursues include orthotics, offloading, bracing, shoe-wear modifications and other advanced modalities including but not limited to shockwave and PRP.

In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys driving his blue car, the NBA, UNC basketball, weightlifting, and going to the beach. You can often find him seeking out the best chimichangas in Southern California after screening the latest released blockbuster movie.

Dr. Vikrant Wadehra is a dedicated foot and ankle surgeon committed to helping patients regain mobility, overcome pain, and return to the activities they enjoy most. Originally from Michigan, Dr. Wadehra earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University before pursuing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.

He then completed a comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency through Ascension Providence Hospital in Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Wadehra combines advanced surgical expertise with a patient-centered approach, ensuring every treatment plan is tailored to each individual’s goals and lifestyle. His clinical interests include minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, bunion surgery, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, reconstructive foot and ankle procedures, diabetic limb preservation, and the treatment of chronic foot and ankle pain.

Dr. Wadehra is passionate about utilizing the latest advancements in medicine, including regenerative therapies, to help patients heal faster, reduce downtime, and achieve lasting results whenever possible. He believes in exhausting conservative treatment options when appropriate while offering innovative surgical solutions when needed. Known for his approachable demeanor and attention to detail, Dr. Wadehra takes pride in educating patients about their condition and empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care. Whether treating athletes, active individuals, or patients seeking relief from longstanding foot and ankle conditions, his goal is to provide exceptional care that improves both function and quality of life.

Outside of the office, Dr. Wadehra enjoys exploring new cuisines, spending time outdoors, traveling, and staying active. As a proud Michigan native, he is also an avid supporter of the Detroit Lions and can often be found cheering on his favorite team during football season.

Dr. Suchir Sheth is a board certified podiatrist and co-founder of SoCal Sports Podiatry. New to the Los Angeles area, Dr. Sheth brings his expertise in diagnosis and treatment of acute / chronic pain, fractures, wound healing, pediatrics, and cosmetic / elective surgery. He has a strong interest in treating trauma of the foot and ankle utilizing the most advanced technology to restore foot and ankle health.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Sheth earned his bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University. He went on to earn his master’s degree at the Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. His DPM degree was obtained at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Sheth completed an intensive 3 year surgical residency program at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident for 2 years.

In his free time, Dr. Sheth enjoys working on cars, riding motorcycles, and watching football with friends and family. He is frequently seen exploring the outdoors with his wife and 7 year old dog. Dr. Steven R. Buchholz is a board-certified podiatrist with more than 40 years of experience serving the Anaheim community. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Southern California and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Buchholz obtained a Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law and successfully passed the California Bar Exam.

Throughout his career, Dr. Buchholz has provided comprehensive podiatric care, including foot and ankle surgery, wound care, pediatric podiatry, and sports medicine. His expertise has led him to serve as a treating consultant for professional sports organizations, including the Anaheim Ducks (NHL), the Los Angeles Angels (MLB), and the LA Kiss arena football team.

Outside of the office, Dr. Buchholz enjoys golfing and is a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bears and Anaheim Ducks. He values spending time with his wife, Michelle, their loyal dog Beatrix, and his two daughters, who reside in San Diego.
